All of a sudden, I’m getting comments from people other than my sole reader! Guess I need to take better care of writing in this blog.
We are trying to decide the next step in our pursuit of justice with the shortage in our commission from the real estate company we aren’t with anymore. We did take the matter to small claims court and won the judgement against the company. The following day, that Broker in Charge threatened us that if we didn’t dismiss our small claims case, she would take us before the Ethics board. The chapter and verse she cited just proves she doesn’t know what she’s talking about and should have nothing to do with the real estate profession. More than one attorney has suggested that we provide her with the name and address of the Grievance Committee!
The next step is to return to the Clerk of Court and file a “Notice of Execution”. No…that doesn’t mean she gets arrested and executed. It means the victims (us) will need to pay $40 against the criminal (her) to have the Sheriff’s Dept write her a letter stating she owes us money and finding out what her plans are. A meeting is arranged and the Deputy arrives on their doorstep to say either they pay us or we are entitled to have the Sheriff’s dept start seizing belongings to be auctioned off.
The $40 would be worth sending the Sheriff out to see her and let her know her email meant nothing to us. It would also send a message that she may not be smart enough to interpret that we are free to go where ever we want, but she will always be a prisoner of the chaos she creates no matter where she is.
Have a good day, more later.
